Transgender teen Jazz Jennings says her
advocacy is helping other transgender teens.
Jennings is the co-author of I Am
Jazz and the spokesperson for Clean & Clear's new
#SeeTheRealMe campaign.
The 14-year-old and her family are the
subject of the upcoming TLC reality series All
That Jazz.

Appearing on the Meredith Vieira
Show, Jennings told host Meredith Vieira that many troubled
transgender teens reach out to her.
“A lot of times I get messages from
kids who are struggling,” Jennings
said. “Sometimes they say they walk in front of a street full
of cars or they're about to jump out of a window. And they say the
reason they didn't do it was because of Jazz. And that's why I keep
sharing my story, because I know I'm making a difference. I'm
creating change. I'm helping those kids.”
“I tell them to stay strong and love
themselves no matter what, because if they stay positive, things will
get better,” she added.
