Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce returns
for its fourth season on Wednesday, September 30 on cable network
Fuse.
The reality show follows Frederick
Ross, who is best know by the stage name Big Freedia and for his work
in the genre of hip hop called bounce music.
Based in New Orleans, Freedia
identifies as a gay man who answers “to either 'he' or 'she'.”
“Following the success of Freedia's
first US tour, season 4 finds Freedia juggling a slew of new creative
opportunities that could expand his empire, just as health concerns
arise that could derail his career,” the season's description
reads.
In a trailer for the upcoming season,
Freedia is seen sorting out his relationship with Devon.
“I never tried to hurt you,” Devon
tells Freedia. “Definitely not.”
Big Freedia continues to be the
highest-rated show in Fuse's 12-year history.
