Rocker Adam Lambert is putting in a
quick media tour before this weekend's Grammy Awards.
The Grammy-nominated singer will appear
Wednesday on CBS's The Talk and Thursday on The Ellen
DeGeneres Show.
Lambert's hit single Whataya Want
From Me received a Grammy nomination in the Best Male Pop Vocal
Performance category. The single appears on Lambert's debut studio
album For Your Entertainment.
“Woah!!!,” Lambert tweeted his more
than 850,000 followers in December. “Just got the news! A Grammy
nomination?!?! I'm floored and honored. There are no words ...”
The 29-year-old American Idol
season 8 runner-up just wrapped up his global Glam Nation tour to
promote the album.
Lambert
recently announced that he'll donate the proceeds from a reworked
version of the single Aftermath to The Trevor Project, the
California-based non-profit that runs the nation's only 24-hour
confidential suicide hotline for gay and questioning youth. In
a video released last year to support the group, Lambert urged
troubled LGBT teens to hang in there, because life gets better.
The Grammy Awards
will be broadcast live on CBS on Sunday, February 13.
