Singer Britney Spears is calling on her
fans to join her in supporting GLAAD's Spirit Day.
The upcoming 6th annual
Spirit Day supports efforts to combat the bullying of LGBT teens.
Supporters are encouraged to wear purple on Thursday, October 15.

says in an 11-second YouTube clip. “Spirit Day is October 15 and

Spears will also fly one lucky
#SpiritDay supporter and a friend to Las Vegas to see her perform her
Planet Hollywood show, Britney: Piece of Me, and meet her
backstage. To enter your name in the contest, sign
the #SpiritDay pledge before Tuesday, October 13.
