Canadian actor Victor Garber and his
longtime partner Rainer Andreesen tied the knot over the weekend in
Canada.
Andreesen, a model and artist, posted a
photo of the pair on Instagram with the caption, “YES WE DID!
#justgotmarried #elopedintofino #canada @therealvictorgarber
#after16years.”
Garber posted a photo from the
ceremony.
“Wickaninnish Inn Tofino BC magical
place to tie the knot,” he wrote.
Garber, who is best known for playing
Jack Bristow in the ABC action series Alias and Ken Taylor,
Canadian ambassador to Iran, in the critically acclaimed film Argo,
first publicly discussed his sexuality in 2013.
“I don't really talk about it but
everybody knows,” he
said of his relationship with Andreesen.
In an interview with
ForeverYoungNews.com,
Garber called his relationship with Andreesen his proudest
achievement aside from his theatrical success.
