Pastor Kevin Swanson of Generations
with Vision Ministry earlier this month attacked the Girls Scouts for
supporting LGBT rights.
On his radio program, Swanson, who has
previously called for a boycott of Girl Scout cookies and has accused
the organization of turning girls into lesbians, argued that Girl
Scout leaders are worthy of death.
After claiming that the Girl Scouts
“promotes lesbianism” and movies such as Harry Potter and
How To Train Your Dragon which feature “homosexual mentors
provided to little boys,” Swanson said people must take Jesus'
teachings literally, in particular Mark 9:42, which states that
anyone who causes a child who believes in him to sin should be thrown
into the sea with a large millstone hung around their neck.
“You've got to take what He says and
you have to apply it,” Swanson
said.
Swanson has repeatedly called for the
execution of people who are gay or lesbian, most recently at an event
in Iowa which featured Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz.
