Conchita Wurst lead Saturday's EuroPride parade in Amsterdam.
EuroPride, a giant touring LGBT Pride event, this year coincided with Amsterdam's annual LGBT Pride.
Hundreds of thousands of revelers lined the streets of Amsterdam to watch the Canal Parade.
Wurst, known as the bearded drag queen, is the winner of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. She is the alter ego of Thomas Neuwirth, a 27-year-old Austrian pop singer and LGBT rights activist. After winning Eurovision, Wurst was asked to perform at the United Nations.
Wurst joined several other drag queens on a boat titled “Join our Freedom,” Reuters reported.
Dutch police and the European Commission had their own floats. The World Religion boat sailed with a message to “coexist in freedom.”
Additional Eurovision artists, including Belgium's Kate Ryan and Spain's Barei, joined Wurst at the closing ceremony of EuroPride 2016.
EuroPride moves to Madrid next year.
