Carson Kressley messaged: “It's #SpiritDay! Take a stand against bullying and show your support for #LGBT youth.”

Sense8's Jamie Clayton and Orange is the New Black's Laverne Cox also messaged their support.

“Happy #SpiritDay!” Ellen DeGeneres tweeted. “Show the world you love them just the way they are.”

Looking's Daniel Franzese captioned a purple-filtered photo of himself with fiance Joseph Bradley Phillips: “We've gone purple with @glaad for #SpiritDay to show we are against bullying! We demand safe #LGBTQ inclusive spaces for our children.”
