Actress Susan Sarandon has joined the
Human Rights Campaign's (HRC) Americans for Marriage Equality
campaign.
The 67-year-old Sarandon divorced her husband, Chris Sarandon, in 1979. From 1988 to 2009 she was in
a relationship with actor Tim Robbins. The couple had two sons but
never married.
In her 45-second clip, Sarandon calls
marriage not “my thing,” then adds: “If it's your thing, you
damned well ought to be able to have it – equally and
unequivocally.”
“The America I want to live in
celebrates diversity and believes in equal rights for all families no
