Rocker Adam Lambert is showing his
support for gay marriage with a new Twitter photo.
The photo features the 28-year-old
American Idol season 8 runner-up with his mouth duct taped and
“NOH8” written on one cheek, in the style of the ongoing NOH8
Campaign against Proposition 8, California's gay marriage ban.
The picture, however, appears to be a
photoshopped imitation of photographer-activist Adam Bouska's work.
Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley added four hours to their Monday
photo shoot in Chicago due to overwhelming demand, gay
website ChicagoPride.com reported.
Lambert, who came out gay last year on
the cover of Rolling Stone, is currently touring in China.
“Hong Kong! The skyline is a trip!”
he tweeted on Monday.
Other famous faces involved in the NOH8
Campaign include: Isiah
Thomas, men's basketball coach of the Florida International
University Golden Panthers, and his son, Joshua Zeke Thomas,
actress Tori
Spelling and Cindy
McCain, wife of Arizona Senator John McCain, and their daughter
Meghan, a pro-gay Republican. Houston
Dynamo Mike Chabala was photographed in Houston for the campaign last
week.
