Matthew Morrison, who plays Will
Schuester on the Fox musical-comedy hit Glee, blushed
during an appearance this week on the NBC late night talk show The
Tonight Show.
When host Jay Leno asked him about
playing gay in the 2003 movie Marci X, Morrison called the
film “a fantastic piece of something.”
“It was the gayest thing I've ever
done in my life. Literally,” Morrison said. “I was in a gay boy
band in the movie called Boys R Us.”
“Oh, no,” Morrison pleaded as Leno
said, “Let's play the clip.”
In the clip, four pink-clad boys are
seen singing and dancing in a soda pop shop.
The band sings: “Hey guy, let's date.
'Causing we're both something special – not straight!”
Morrison holds hands with one of the
band members: “What I feel for you is groovy, so let's enjoy it.”
“I think your sister's pretty, but
let's boy on boy it,” the group sings. “I saw you wink and life
is so much better now that we're in sync. I really like your smiling
face. My beach house has a fireplace. We'll watch re-runs of Will
& Grace.”
“Let's fornicate!” the boys exclaim
as they grab their crotches. (The video is embedded in the right
panel of this page.)
The
openly straight Morrison recently said he doesn't mind the rumor that
he's gay.
