The Real L Word season 3 cast
will include new and former cast members as the show goes bi-coastal.
Premiering July 12 on pay cabler
Showtime, season 3 of The Real L Word, which in season 2
followed the lives of seven lesbians living in Los Angeles, is the
reality series version of Ilene Chaiken's groundbreaking drama The
L Word, which ran for six seasons on Showtime and starred
Jennifer Beals.
In season 3, the action will take place
mostly in New York but the inclusion of several previous cast members
will return viewers to the City of Angels.
Returning this season are Whitney
Mixter, Romi Klinger, Sara and married couple Cori and Kacy. New
this year are Kiyomi, Somer and Amanda.
Kiyomi fronts all-lesbian rock band
Hunter Valentine. She is “extremely stubborn” and believes her
band is “on the brink of making it big,” according to an online
bio.
Hunter Valentine rhythm guitarist Somer
balances rock and roll with “domestication, babies and, property
with her new wife.”
Amanda, a “PR/real estate/socialite,”
is moving to New York to be near best friend Lauren.
