Producers of the Hunting Season
on Wednesday released a trailer for the upcoming web series based on
the sexual exploits of a gay Gawker.com blogger.
The Hunting Season is based on
the wildly popular blog The Great Cock Hunt, which
was published between 2005 and 2008.
The anonymous blog described the social
and sexual exploits of Alex, a supposedly real blogger who worked at
Gawker.com.
The 8-episode web series, which is set
to premiere on September 12, picks up where The Great Cock Hunt
left off.
According to a press release, the show
is described as “a real-life (nudity included) glimpse into the
world of gay Gotham twenty-somethings, and is unflinching in its
portrayal of friendship, sex, lies, loyalty and ambivalence.” (The
trailer for the series is embedded on this page. Visit
