A gay male couple in Salt Lake City, Utah got engaged in the
lumber aisle of Home Depot.
According to the description included in a YouTube video posted on
Wednesday, Dustin Reeser was taken to Home Depot under the guise that
he was there to help his roommate pick out some lighting for a party.
Instead, he found a mob of friends and family, who started to dance
to Betty Who's Somebody Loves You.
Boyfriend Spencer Stout entered the aisle dressed in a gray suit
and holding a placard which included a line from the song:“If I am
good to you …. Won't you be good to me?” He handed the sign to
Dustin and joined the other dancers as the song wound down.
“Dustin, I love you more than anything in this entire world.
And I would be honored if you would be by my side for the rest of my
life,” Spencer told Dustin after the dance ended.
He then got down on bended knee, produced a wedding ring and
asked, “Will you marry me?”
Dustin answered “yes” as he wiped away tears. (The video is
