Hollywood actor Nathan Lane and Devlin
Elliott married Tuesday in New York City.
Lane and Elliott have been together 18
years.
According to PEOPLE, the couple married
at City Hall.
“Nathan and Devlin were married in a
small ceremony in New York City this week,” Lane's representative
told PEOPLE.
“Everyone is extremely happy.”
Elliott is a producer and playwright.
Recently the couple collaborated on
Naughty Mabel, a children's book that is based on their pet
French bulldog.
The 59-year-old Lane is best known for
his roles as Albert in The Birdcage, Max Bialystock in the
Broadway musical The Producers, Nathan Detroit in Guys and
Dolls and his recurring roles on ABC's Modern Family and
CBS' The Good Wife. He officially came out after the death of
Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old college student who died in a brutal
homophobic attack.
