Canadian actor Nathan Fillion talks
about his gay fans and man crushes in a new interview with gay glossy
The Advocate.
The 44-year-old Fillion is best known
for playing Richard Castle on the ABC crime drama Castle and
Captain Malcolm Reynolds on the science-fiction series Firefly
and the feature film Serenity.
Fillion told the magazine that he
rarely gets hit on by fans but that he's had “some very nice
compliments from gay male fans.”
“A compliment is a compliment. “I
take 'em where I can get 'em,” he said.
When asked whether he has a man crush,
Fillion listed several actors.
“Umm, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeremy
Renner, Bradley Cooper. Who else do I think is really great? Both
of the Wilson brothers,” he said, referring to actors Owen and
Andrew Wilson.
“Tom Hiddleston,” he added. “Did
I mention him?”
Asked to say something to his gay fans,
Fillion
said, “Say it loud, say it proud,” with a laugh.
Fillion's latest project is Con Man,
a web
series with Alan Tudyk.
