Two men who play flying monkeys in the
Broadway production of Wicked got engaged on Christmas night
on the Gershwin theater stage.
After curtain call, the cast gathered
for a holiday photo.
But when Josh Daniel Green's boyfriend,
Daniel Robinson, pulled him front and center, he quickly realized it
would be a Christmas to remember.
“I'm beyond blessed to wake up next
to you every day,” Robinson said as held Green's hand. “You're
the most intelligent, talented, handsomest best friend I could ask
for. You allow me to be me. You inspire me. You dream with me.
And you judge me only when I ask you to. I want to spend my life
with you.”
Getting down on one knee he produced a
ring and added: “Josh Daniel Green will you marry me?”
“Yes,” an overjoyed Green answered.
In an Instagram
post, Robinson added: “I'm marrying my best friend!”
