Conservative commentator Glenn Beck on
Monday condemned Hersheypark's policy of allowing transgender people
to use the bathroom of their choice.
The Pennsylvania family theme park
reiterated its policy on Monday, joining retailer Target in
publicizing its restroom policy as it relates to transgender people.
Both announcements follow passage of a controversial law in North
Carolina that prohibits transgender people from using the bathroom of
their choice in government buildings, including schools.

Beck told his radio listeners that the
push for transgender rights is “not normal,” unlike the fight for
marriage equality, which he claimed the American public was close to
accepting on its own.
“Transgender bathrooms have come out
of nowhere,” Glenn
said, “and are being jammed down our throat. I guarantee you,
I guarantee you the next stop on this train is pedophilia. I
guarantee it. They will normalize pedophilia.”
