In
an interview with gay glossy The
Advocate, RuPaul, the
host of Logo's RuPaul's
Drag Race, discussed
why he's with her 100 percent.
When asked
whether this political cycle had changed his mind on politics, which
he had previously called a “stupid bore,” RuPaul answered no.
“Well,
everything is politics,” RuPaul
said. “Everything
humans do is political. There's a political ramification.”
“But the
politics that we're talking about, which is, you know, Washington
politics and state legislature, or as I like to call it po-lit-ics,
that is a bore. That is a complete bore.”
“And this
presidential election, it's interesting, because one of the
candidates is fucking insane. Absolutely. And history will look
back at this and go, 'What the hell happened?!' It really will.
And, of course, we're talking about Drumpf. So, yeah, politics are a
bore.”
“Honestly, if
you really want to get some things done in this world, real change
happens on a heart to heart level. It happens on a human level,”
RuPaul said.
“So, you're
100 percent with her?”
“I am,”
RuPaul answered, before adding that all politicians “are dirty.”
