Producers behind King Cobra on
Monday released a trailer for the upcoming film.
Garrett Clayton (Teen Beach,
Teen Beach 2) plays gay porn star Brent Corrigan in the
James Franco-produced movie about the real-life murder of adult film
producer Bryan Kocis (named Stephen in the film and played by
Christian Slater).
Corrigan, real name Sean Paul Lockhart,
was a key figure in the murder of Kocis, head of Cobra Video, the
studio which had an exclusive contract with Corrigan.
Porn star Harlow Raymond Cuadra and
Joseph Manuel Kerekes were convicted of the 2007 murder of Kocis.
Keegan Allen plays Cuadra in the film,
while Franco takes on the role of Kerekes.
Cuadra and Kerekes, who produced their
own adult films, wanted Kocis to let Corrigan star in one of their
videos opposite Cuadra, but Kocis would not let his star model out of
his contract.
