Out singer-songwriter Eli Lieb on
Wednesday released a song to comfort those “heartbroken” by the
election of Donald Trump.
Lieb performed the song, titled Until
You've Fallen Down, in a YouTube video.
“Hi everyone,” Lieb wrote in the
video's description. “Today is the day after the election in
America. Many of us are so heartbroken and feel like there is no
hope. We want to believe that we live in a country and world that
believes in good and love and peace, and today has been a difficult
challenge. So, I wrote this song as a message of HOPE. Sometimes
you truly can't get up until you've fallen down. Love, Eli.”
In the song, Lieb does not directly
mention Tuesday's election.
Lieb is best known for such hits as
Young
Love, Safe
In My Hands and Pulse.
