Rocker Adam Lambert and Queer Eye
for the Straight Guy alum Jai Rodriguez were among the stars at
the premiere party for RuPaul's Drag Race season 3.
Lambert, who just wrapped up his global
Glam Nation tour, arrived wearing all black and a hint of blue eye
shadow. The American Idol season 8 runner-up turns 29 on
January 29.
The 31-year-old Rodriguez plied the red
carpet wearing a gruff three-day beard.
Both stars are anticipating the Monday
premiere of all-gay cabler Logo's RuPaul's Drag Race, which
will be preceded by the show's first-ever casting special.
RuPaul unleashed his first search for
America's next superstar drag queen two years ago. After crowning
two queens, and upping the number of contestants from 9 to 12,
America's first drag queen superstar is ready for a third go-around.
Contestants on the reality show face a
barrage of fashion-related and talent challenges in their quest to
win a prize package that includes a headlining spot on Logo's Drag
Race Tour, a lifetime supply of Kryolan Professional Make-up and a
cash prize of $75,000.
Guest judges on the upcoming third
season of the show include Fantasia, Carmen Electra, Margaret Cho and
Johnny Weir.
