Is the idyllic romance between Darren
Criss and Chris Colfer on the Fox musical-comedy Glee headed
for trouble?
On the show's season premiere, Criss'
Blaine Anderson swapped crooning for the Dalton Academy Warblers for
a less-visible spot on William McKinley High's New Directions to be
near his boyfriend Kurt Hummel, played by Chris Colfer.
According to Michael Ausiello's
TVLine.com, the party might be coming to an end for the happy couple
as a new competitor enters the picture.
In the show's fifth episode, which is
expected to be broadcast sometime in November, Sebastian (played by
Grant Gustin), a gay Dalton Academy Warbler, sets his sights on
Blaine.
“He's our villain this season,” an
unnamed source told Ausiello. “It's a major role.”
Sebastian “is the polar opposite of
Kurt in every possible way. He's more like the male version of
Santana in that he's both promiscuous and kinda-sorta scheming,”
the
site reported.
Gustin's credits include playing Baby
John in the national tour of West Side Story.
