UK rugby star Ben Cohen and gay ally
Hudson Taylor on Saturday promised to make gay dreams come true.
Taylor is the Columbia University
assistant wrestling coach who started Athlete
Ally to fight homophobic speech in sports, and Cohen retired from
rugby earlier this year to helm the Ben
Cohen StandUp Foundation, which combats homophobia.
The openly straight athletes appeared
together at Saturday's 15th annual Human Rights Campaign
(HRC) National Dinner, held in Washington D.C., to promote the
auctioning off of Cohen to benefit gay rights causes.
Cohen and Taylor addressed the group
after President
Barack Obama spoke to the crowd.
“Tonight, we've decided to chose one
person and make their wildest fantasy come true,” Taylor said to
cheers from the crowd.
“That's right, Hudson. Whether the
winner is LGBT, straight, questioning-curious we will not
discriminate,” Cohen added. “We are here to fulfill your
ultimate fantasy.” (The video is embedded in the right panel of

No word on who lucked out to walk away
with Cohen on his/her arm.
